Location: Townsend Lane, Anfield
Fire crews were called to a road traffic collision on Townsend Lane, Anfield, on Sunday 18th August.
Crews were alerted at 10.30pm and on scene at 10.36pm. Two fire engines attended.
On arrival crews found two vehicles had been involved in a collision. Both vehicles were on all four wheels. One person was medically confined to one of the vehicles.
Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle to allow the person to be released and handed into the care of NWAS.
One person was taken to hospital for further assessment.
Fire crews left the scene at 11.19pm.
