- All Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service Community Fire Stations are designated Safe Havens and Third-Party Hate Crime Reporting Centres.
- Anyone who is feeling threatened, intimidated or at risk can go to any Community Fire Station as a place of safety and support.
- Due to operational commitments, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service Community Fire Stations and other premises, should not be utilised as a Safe Haven if the individual involved is already in a place of safety, either with partner agencies or friends/family.
- All Safe Havens have an illuminated sign, which is illuminated at night and if Firefighters are not on station, help can be called for by using the yellow phone located at the front of Community Fire Stations.
- Our staff are trained to help victims get advice and support in a safe and secure environment. They can help to contact Police or Stop Hate UK and report any incidents of hate or abuse.
- Alternatively, you can report a crime to Stop Hate direct (24 hrs a day) via telephone number 0800 138 1625.
In case of an emergency or if someone is in immediate danger, please call 999 and report directly to the police.
